Got this myself on my phone, and it just refused to update. Right here's what helped me.

Edit: this appears to be an issue that Facebook recognize. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Shop problem.

This is what helped me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear information as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all information and also Clear cache


It doesn't harmed if you reboot your phone before you attempt upgrading facebook once more. And also, the mount was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 minutes. But, it did job. If not attempt to uninstall it, or simply wait on a fix.
