I Updated Facebook and now It Won't Work Update 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and also it just rejected to update. Below's what worked for me.

Edit: this appears to be a concern that Facebook understand. It's a problem with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Shop issue.

This is what worked for me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all information and also Clear cache


It doesn't hurt if you reactivate your phone before you try upgrading facebook once more. As well as, the mount was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 mins. But, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or just wait on a solution.
