Got this myself on my phone, as well as it simply rejected to update. Right here's what helped me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook understand. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what benefited me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage room, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not injured if you reboot your phone before you try updating facebook again. And, the mount was SLOW. Just at the very least 4-5 minutes. But, it did work. Otherwise try to uninstall it, or just wait for a fix.
