Got this myself on my phone, and also it simply declined to update. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a concern that Facebook recognize. It's an issue with the Facebook application, and not a generalised Play Shop concern.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage area, Clear all information and also Clear cache


It does not hurt if you reboot your phone prior to you attempt updating facebook once more. As well as, the install was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 minutes. However, it did job. Otherwise try to uninstall it, or just wait on a solution.
