Facebook Won't Update Update 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and it simply rejected to update. Below's what worked for me.

Edit: this seems to be an issue that Facebook understand. It's a problem with the Facebook app, and also not a generalised Play Store issue.

This is what worked for me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Services > Manage space, Clear all information and Clear cache


It does not harmed if you reactivate your phone before you try updating facebook once more. As well as, the set up was SLOW. Just at least 4-5 minutes. Yet, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or just await a fix.
